Manage your sales pipeline

Create a deal, move it through the board, and use stage names that fit your sales process.

Workspaces with Clients CRMReviewed

Before you start

Have the company record ready if the opportunity belongs to a known client. Use Clients → Deals in the intended workspace. A deal records the opportunity; a project organizes the delivery work that may follow.

Add a deal

  1. Open Deals and use the new-deal action.
  2. Give the opportunity a recognizable name, such as Kitchen remodel.
  3. Select the company, relevant contacts, and other details you know. Review the value and currency if you enter an amount.
  4. Choose the stage that reflects where the opportunity stands, then save.

Move the opportunity forward

  1. Use the board view to see deals grouped by stage.
  2. Drag a deal into the appropriate column as the conversation progresses. In a table, click an editable value to update it inline, or click the deal name to open its form.
  3. Use Won for a successful outcome and Lost for an opportunity that will not move forward.

After a deal moves to a won stage, Scoped offers a project handoff. Creating that project is a choice, not an automatic action.

Adjust your stages

The starting stages are Lead, In Progress, Won, and Lost. Use the stage controls in the board’s column menu to edit names for your workspace. Keep stage meaning clear to everyone using the pipeline: a won stage still represents successful work even if you rename it.

If something looks wrong

Check the board’s active filters if a deal disappears. Open the record and confirm its stage and company before adding a replacement. Deal values are pipeline records, not invoices or payments.

CRM deals do not appear in the app’s ⌘K quick-search yet. Find them through Clients → Deals or the related company page.
